• 2025-2026 High School Summer School Referral & CONTINUAL LEARNING PLAN (CLP)

  • Parents please note: 

    • Students are given the opportunity to successfully complete/recover up to 1 credit required towards graduation.
    • If your student failed a FIRST SEMESTER CLASS, the session runs from 8:00 am - 12:15 pm (with a 15-minute break), June 16-July 3.
      (Please note altered schedule to accommodate holidays.
       Week 1: : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
       Week 2 & 3:Monday-Thursday
    • If your student failed a SECOND SEMESTER CLASS, the session runs from 8:00 am - 12:15 pm (with a 15-minute break) from Monday-Thursday, July 7 - July 24. 
    • These sessions may be subject to change based on student enrollment numbers.
    • Attendance is mandatory in order to receive credit.
    • Your student's teacher or counselor will be contacting you to let you know if your student has failed a class.
    • If your student is transferring to ALC to graduate THIS SUMMER, you must contact the ALC office, 218-336-8756.
    • There is no school busing for summer school, ISD709 students can use their student ID for FREE DTA rides.

    Note: If student is an out of district student, please upload a "referring district" student data summary sheet with their MARSS Number at the end of this submission, as well as the completing the Duluth Public Schools Registration Form signed by a parent/guardian or the adult student (age 18 or older).

    PARENT SIGNATURE MUST BE PRESENT FOR ENROLLMENT.

  • This program is open to students that have completed grade 9 or above who meet one or more of the state eligibility guidelines.

     

     

     

  • Student Signature/Agreement: I understand the ALC program requirements. I will work cooperatively with my counselor to develop a Continual Learning Plan (CLP) and promise to put forth full effort to achieve my stated goals.

  • Parents, there is no school busing to summer school this year but students may use their ISD709 student IDs to ride the DTA for FREE!

    If your student is not an ISD709 student, we are able to provide DTA bus passes daily.
  • Parent or Guardian/Agreement: I understand the ALC program requirements. I support the decision of my son/daughter to enroll in the program and expect him/her to work cooperatively with his/her counselor to develop a Continual Learning Plan (CLP) and to put forth full effort to achieve the stated goals.

    Furthermore, I consent and agree to:

    Duluth Public Schools providing personal identifying information about my child to the software, websites, and web-based applications listed in this document.

    Use the district Chromebook in accordance with appropriate behavior expectations as explained here:   2025-26 Blended Learning Form

    Understand that any violation of Chromebook Loan Agreement conditions may result in the removal of the Chromebook from the student (if applicable).
